the night you won't remember
There is a voice
That keeps saying every day
You shouldn’t give up
though life is short, it can also be long enough
and you should learn from mistakes
There is a voice
It tells you every morning
To wake up
It ain’t the same sun after sun
once your eyes are open, nor
the same moon when you fall asleep
This voice is repetitive
Like the ordinary sequence of nature
It travels through the light into our stubborn ears
That voice
Wanna teach you the simplest things
which your young heart refuse to comprehend
and as time and will grow older
the sound of that voice becomes a whisper
forgotten
like salty sea waves on our skins after a lonely night from yesterday
There is a voice
that keeps asking you
hour after hour
what does wish
this tired heart?
I ask you dear God:
discipline me
in the language of the birds
enlighten me in what
the breeze gossip
to the leaves
There is a voice
That keeps telling you every night
To dream and remember you only die once
It asks what life was if wasn’t for the waves, for the sound
For your favourite song
For the words?
You will carry on today,
Tomorrow and always, until
the last silent night
